Subject of the project: Struggle against racism, foreign hostility, cultural smilarities and dissmilarities in between two countries, to exceed borders, conscious of European and European citizenship.

Aims:
1: To destroy “racism concept” which causes disasters with negative results and exists in every country and almost every mentality.
2: To instill the consept of the struggle against racism and what racism causes to
the teenagers in our project and to the local public.
3: With teens in our project and local public, to unit with teens from different countries in activities about our subjects.
4: To cause teens to gain the conscious of being an European.
5: To cause teens to perceive the difference of being an European and making some discussions about this subject.

6: To provide learning about cultures.
7: To share cultural similarities and dissimilarities and as a result of this to cause teens to gain an international experience. To found a ” International friendship bridge”  also to instill the respect to the cultural diversity.
8: To convert our project to the international format by realizing our activites in our international project in an ambience which is so close with the public. To be an model for other teens and groups.
9: To maintain our project by realizing an international information and ability sharing and to show our opinion about the hostility in the world towards foreigners, racism, sexism.. etc, and to make something about this subjects.
10: To incorporate teens who are not sufficiently qualified ( physical, financial, geographic…) and to benefit from their opinion.  To contribute to their personal abilities and social lives by incorporating them.

Some activities including our subjects in our project:
1: Shooting a narrow film- an amateur documentary ( there are 8 hours within 2 days to prepare and conclude)
Subjects:  How much racist are we?
                  The roles which we are responsible for,  on fighting with racism.
                  The effects of hostility foreign.

Four groups will be founded from total 28 people and each of these groups will include seven people ( homogeneous or mixed). These groups will be determined with lottery. Total 8 hours may be enough. There are making brainstorm and discussing in that 8 hours. Then that 8 hours in 2 days will be used for shooting a narrow film. The winner may be determined with voting for makin this funny. Maybe a little present can be given to the winner group.

2: Preparing a magazine or a journal ( there are 8 hours within 4 days to prepare)

- Disadvantages of racism
-Racism in Turkey
-Racism in the other country
-Teenagers’ opinions about racism
-Cultural similarities and dissimilarities and advertising of cultures
-Meetings and activities on the project
-Photographs
-Advertisements and supporters ( But we mustn’t forget our the biggest supporter is “National Agency” )
-Publicity of groups
-Informations about AB projects and treatments of national agencies.  ( This will be impulsive for local public and users except groups )
-Writings about our project’s sustainability, this can be a interview
-A fun page
-Local public’s, government’s or teenagers’s opinions which we incorporate to our project

3: The party with the concept of “welcome”  ( second night at the activity program )
After the night when the foreign group come. Joining together with active and slow songs. Creating a funny ambience.

4: A photograph competition ( in the activity program, the total time for taking photos is 2.5 hours )
Subject:  To destroy prejudices and taboos
Four groups will be founded from total 28 people and each of these groups will include seven people and spare time will be given groups in the city center and suitable ambience will be created.
The Award:  The winner group’s photo will be cover picture of our magazine.

5: Wall advertisement and poster desings ( total 4 hours in 2 activity days)
Subject: European Union
               European Citizenship
               Turkey’s place in the European Union

There will be groups again. Common pictures will be made up. Various methods can be used while making this pictures. This pictures will be exhibited in the city center. As a consequence we provide that local public and teens can benefit from our project. As this posters are our project’s symbol, they will be given to media.
The best one will be selected with voting and it will be main poster of our project.

6: Logo designing for our t-shirts (2 hours in 1 activity day)
There will be groups and this groups will make up their logos, the best one will be selected with voting and it will be pressed on our t-shirts.

7: Türkish Night ( One night of activity program)
- The aim is explaining of turkish culture, history and traditions
- For example: Turkish cuisine, turkish coffee, folk dancing, introduction of -world famous- Turkish authors, Turkish history, a slide show about turkey’s beauty…  
- A Turkish film with english subtitle

8: A city trip ( Düzce) ( one activity day)
-”Konuralp” trip. This is an ancient city in which historical monuments exists from Rome, Byzantine and the Ottoman Empire and this city resists since 3. century BC.
-”Konuralp Museumé trip
-”Ancient Theatre” trip (AC 1. century)
-Some places in Düzce

9: The discussion ( 2 hours in 1 activity day)
Subject: Any hinder for socialization, cultural progress and international friendships.
Achievements will be published at our magazine.

10: Istanbul Trip  (1 activity day)
An identifier, historical and cultural trip.
Istanbul is the 2010 European Culture Capital City. With this trip, teens will be in the activites about this and European concious will be instilled.

11: Games ( 5 hours for 5 activity days- 1 hour each day)
For relaxing and socialising, games ( like scrabble, backgammon, chess..) will be played.

12: To join ” Düzce Municipality Spring Festival” ( exactly 1 day)
Aims: To adapt teens to a different ambience and local public by attending this festival. To share our experiences with other people.  To have a good time.

13: “Akçakoca Beach” (1 activity day)
Swimming
Beach Volleyball
Beach Football
With this sport activities, the friendship will be developed.

14: Watching a documentary about global warming, women’s rights or peace of world ( 2 hours in 1 activity day)

15: A visit to the Düzce Municipality and EU center

16: A night which will be organized by foreign group themselves, about their country, culture ( like türkish night) (1 night)

17: Free time and shopping at the city center

18: Knowledge Contest (2 hours)
Seven groups will be founded from total 28 people and each of these groups will include four people. Questions will be about racism, EU, national agencies,  Eu projects, informations about two groups in our projects and cultures. The winner will be selected.

19: To be incorporated some teens in both groups to the group for the Web page during the project and its sequel and sustainable of the project
If we have a web page, our project will be not only european but also international. Also as a result of this we can give e-mail adresses based on our project to the group members. We can compose a group (4-6 members) for this so this group can care with this website after the project.

20: Commentaries of the day with leaders and some oh the teens every night

21: To decide to sustain the project and arrange a new project in the foreign group’s country, maybe little preparations can be made about this new project.

22: A broadcast at “Radio 81″ for an hour ( if it is available)

23: When i prepare activity programme at the proper time, if the time is enough, there will be also “Turkish Bath”.
